Stephen Taylor, O.D.
Biography
Dr. Taylor was born and raised in western Maine where he attended the University of Maine. He then earned his Doctor of
Optometry at The Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He completed a residency at the W. Roxbury Veterans Hospital
specializing in ocular disease and primary eye care. After practicing in Connecticut for 12 years, he joined OCB and
Dr. Shingletons team in 2006. He is married to his wife Joyce who works in child protective services and is an
assistant professor at Springfield College.
